Shadow Fire Promotions, Inc. strives for accuracy in all phases of the processing of your order. We also strive to insure that we accurately and completely describe our merchandise. As collectors ourselves, we understand how important it is to know the condition of your merchandise, especially since much of it is long out of print.
Here are some tips to help you out in selecting your merchandise.
All unsealed media is tested by our staff upon receipt, and before listing. If it does not play, we will not offer it for sale. Additionally, all items listed for sale are of the same quality we would have in our personal collection.
Due to the proliferation of tape-traders, we cannot offer returns on ANY of our media items, save for sealed items that REMAIN SEALED.
All of our items are in the original packaging, and in "like new" condition, unless otherwise stated. We try to avoid "cut boxes" or media that does not have the original packaging, unless the media is so scarce or we can pick it up at a great price, so we can pass along the savings to you.
Our prices are based on the following criteria:
Condition of the item
Where we received an item (several of our items are exclusive to a certain area, such as the Canadian print of the Hitman Hart movie, which was different from the U.S. release)
The scarcity of the item, and in certain cases,
The matches featured on a particular video (for example, the infamous "Montreal screw-job" of Bret Hart at WWF Survivor Series 1997).
If, after your order, there are any problems, please consider these suggestions before you e-mail us:
Have you given your order enough time to arrive? After in order is placed, it takes us 1-2 business days to get your package prepared to ship. Orders shipped by Media Mail can take at least two weeks to arrive, and longer during "rush" periods, such as holidays. For our International customers, please be advised that Global Priority Mail may not be available for all countries. In such cases, your item will be expedited with the next fastest available shipping option. If you elect to send your item via Surface Mail, be advised that the earliest Postal estimate for arrival is four weeks, with a maximum of three months! Don't forget that your package still has to clear customs, and they also tend to get backed up during holiday seasons. Remember, even if you buy your item through a third party processer like Amazon.com, you may always elect to email us and ask how to augment your shipping credit so you may get your item faster!
All of your purchases are packed carefully in padded envelopes. However, unless you purchase additional insurance or tracking, we are not responsible for your package once it is in the hands of the Post Office. We are unable to track items for you unless you purchase tracking from the Post Office. All we can tell you is the date the item was shipped. However, we have never yet received any legitimate claim of items being lost or damaged in transit. We will often play your media item one final time just before packing to doubly insure quality and playability.
When you placed an order, were you told that any portion of your order would have to be shipped from a different warehouse, shipped separately, special ordered, or that there would be any delay in your shipping? We strive to insure that we e-mail you when your order is sent, but sometimes, we get so busy that just is not possible! We strive to ship items within 48 hours of receiving your order.
If, after you have given your item sufficient time to arrive, and you have checked out everything else on this page, but still have questions, here's how to contact us:
Contact us via e-mail. Drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will respond to your request within 48 hours in most situations. Usually within 24 hours of receipt of your e-mail.
Give us a call directly at 00-1-847-489-2087. When you are calling, please MAKE SURE you identify the item in question, as we don't track our items by listing identification, product or order number. If calling in reference to an order placed through a third party, give us the description of the item, when you ordered it, and the shipping address.
Find us online through messengers. We frequently have someone available on either GoogleTalk, Yahoo!, AOL, or Skype.
